Hsipaw adventures Tour

Hsipaw and Kyaukme are beautiful places for trekking, biking, swimming and exploring. At this time of the year you’ll see the farmers planting their rice saplings, and the pristine rivers swelling-up after a quick afternoon storm. It can also get quite cold on the Shan mountain tops, so it’s good to bring extra clothes – in case you get too hot, too cold or too wet. Mt.Victoria (or) Nat Ma Taung (or) Khaw-nu-soum

Nat MaTaung also known as Victoria Taung and KhawnusoneTaung is about 10200 feet above sea level and situated in Kanpetlet Township-Southern Chin State. Kanpetle town is a beautiful hilly town covered by the mistand about 4000 feet above sea level.
On the opposite bank of Chauk is Seikphyu and Saw towns in Magwe Division, after those towns is Kanpetlet in Chin State. It can be reached from Chauk and about 3 hours’ drive from Bagan.Climbing uphill early in the morning to NatmaTaung from Kanpetlet, the visitors will come into a sea of clouds so breathtaking that make you feel like you are in a new world. En route, the visitors will pass through lush green forest full of aged pine trees, Rhododendrons in white and red colors – the scenery is really captivating. Near NatmaTaung there are ethnic Chin villages, where one can observe their daily living styles and their culture. Most of the elderly females have tattoos called ‘Pa-yel’ on their faces. One will be hosted by the villagers with local sweetish brew and local ‘Mithun’ beef.
The hospitality and beautiful ethnic Chin people of NatmaTaung will be indelible in one’s memory.

Dhammacakka

Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon ‘Dhammacakka” to the five disciples on the full moon of Waso. That is why it is marked as ‘Dhammacakka Day’. The Myanmar month of Waso is the beginning of the monsoon rains. It is also the start of the Buddhist Lent. Monks are prohibited to travel overnight from their monasteries. According to the monks’ code of conduct, they are still obligated to make the rounds for their daily food whether it is raining or not. As it is, they need spare robes. Therefore there is a ceremony to offer robes to the monks for use during the wet season.Myanmar-Buddhist believes that robe offering ceremonies during this period gained merit for next life.

Kaung Mutaw Pagoda

The Kaunghmudaw Pagoda; Yaza Mani Sula Kaunghmudaw is a huge pagoda in the shape of a perfect hemisphere, on the northwestern outskirts of Sagaing incentral Myanmar.Modeled after the Ruwanwelisaya pagoda of Sri Lanka, Construction began during the reign of King Thalun on 25 April 1636. The pagoda was completed 12 years later on 12 May 1648 towards the endof Thalun’s reign. The enormous dome is 46 m (151 feet) high and houses a large White marble Buddha statue, a massive seated 7.3 metres (24 ft)-high, carved out of solid white marble. in its center. It is believed that the dome was built later around the massive statue using 10126552 pieces of bricks. The lowest terrace of the pagoda is decorated with 120 nats and devas. It is ringed by 802 stone lanterns, carved with inscriptions of Buddha’s life in three languages: Burmese, Mon and Shan, representing the three main regions of Kingdom. The pagoda dome has been continuously painted white. According to local lore, the relic chamber of the pagoda contains the lower left tooth relic of the Buddha, 11 hair relics, an alms bowl, statues, pagodas made of rubies, gold, silver and other relics.

Yangon River Cruise

Yangon River Cruise is a new travel program for Yangon City tour. It starts from Botataung Jetty and back to the Jetty.There are two tours; one in the morning from 8am to 9am and the evening tour is from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.In the morning tour, the cruise will take you to Three Rivers converging point and on the way one can enjoy the natural beautiful scenery of villages on the opposite back of Yangon. One can also enjoy the hustle and bustle of riverine activities.In the evening tour, it travels the same route. On the way one can enjoy all the same sceneries and the beautiful sunset in the river. Visit Bagan in Rainy Season

It is good time to visit Bagan, where there is very little or no rain. Bagan city has beautiful green landscape and the mighty pagodas. It is one of the most amazing sites you will ever see, no other place compares or comes close to the view of thousands of pagodas and temples that stretch as far as the eye can see. Since it stays mostly dry, even through the wet season, one can visit Bagan any time of the year. However with those beautiful blue skies and a milder temperature, it is recommended to visit Bagan between the months of November and March. This is also when you will be able to see the famous Balloons at sunrise.
